Background and Context
Background: This module is designed as a supplement to the Avancemos Series Unidad 3 Lección 2: En Mi Familia. This module is part of a fifteen day unit for Spanish I students. The unit combines each of the three modes of communication; however the focus is using technology with the interpersonal mode. Students will be creating a family album in a format of their choice. The rubric for the family album can be found on the resource page. After students create the album, they will share it in groups of three or four. Student will talk about each page and then be prepared to answer questions from group members. The group conversations will be recorded using nooks with an app for recording. Afterwards, students will not only listen to their presentation and make critiques, but as a class, we will make listen to a number of presentations and work as a class to talk about went went well, what should be clarified, and what other questions could have been asked.
